The Board of Trustees, which is elected annually at the Annual General Meeting, is responsible for the operation of the Association and organises the annual Stithians Show.
The Board meets regularly throughout the year and has a number of sub-committees and working parties which are responsible for certain aspects of the Show.
Whilst there is only one Show day per year work to prepare for the Show and manage our site carries on all year round.
Much of the day to day administration is carried out by the officers:
Chairman & Vice Chairman General Secretary and Honorary Assistant Secretaries Honorary Treasurer and Honorary Assistant Treasurer Trade and Craft Secretaries Catering Manager and Taste of Cornwall Marquee organiser. Countryside Area Coordinator.
The competitive areas of the Show are organised by the Section Committees with each having a representative on the Board of Trustees.
Towards Show time an army of volunteers moves into action to set up each Section under the overall control of the Showyard Directors who are responsible for marking out the Showground, allocating the Trade Spaces and generally making sure that all runs as smoothly as possible.
