Information for visitors coming by car

Finding the Show

The Show is well signed from the A30, A39, A393 & A394.

If using a SatNav to find the Showground use the postcode TR3 7DP, BUT please follow the official signs as you get closer to the Showground.

If you have a show issued vehicle pass of any kind or disabled badge it must be clearly displayed on the windscreen before you approach the Showground. Badges/passes that are flat on the dash will not be visible to the parking staff and you will be placed in the normal public parking.

To view the location on Google Maps and obtain directions click here

Parking

The car parks are designated as red and green and any passes issued will reflect this. For those without passes please enter the first car park you come to to enable you to return by the route on which you came.

There is ample FREE general public parking. Car parks open an hour before the Show. The ringside parking area is chargeable and on a first come, first served basis.

Some queuing is almost inevitable as you approach or leave the Showground, especially at peak times, and you are asked to be patient. Please follow the instructions of the car park operatives as they are there to get everyone parked and out as easily and quickly as possible.

It may be necessary for some cars to be parked in overflow car parks but these are close to the main Showground entrances.

Sorry no reservations are taken for ringside area (chargeable) or disabled parking - come early.

There is a forward parking area for Members of the Show in each car park and a pass is issued upon application at the time of paying the annual subscription. This is available for use before 11 a.m. and subject to available space. Vehicles displaying an appropriate disabled pass are also parked in the forward parking area.

N.B. ALL PASSES MUST BE DISPLAYED BEFORE ARRIVING AT THE SHOWGROUND ENTRANCE.

VEHICLES NOT DISPLAYING THEIR PASSES, INCLUDING DISABLED PATRONS WILL BE PLACED IN THE PUBLIC CAR PARK.

Free bus service to the Show

The Show provides a free bus service - see below.  You can buy your entrance tickets from the driver and save the effort of queuing once you arrive at the Show.

Service buses also visit the village - check with the operators for times. At the time of updating this site services are provided by First Group & Williams Travel. Their normal charges apply.

Some independent coach operators provide trips to the Show - these are NOT organised by the Show and you cannot buy tickets on the coaches.

Free bus service

A free bus service is operated by Williams Travel on behalf of the Association.

To enable you to gain entry to the Showground without queuing on arrival you may buy your admission ticket on the bus - please have the correct money ready to save delays if possible. For admission prices click here (new tab or window will open).

The Association cannot accept liability if buses fail to collect from the stated stops at the advertised times, nor for any delays.

Please be aware that some of the earlier return trips may be full and thus cause you to wait for the later return service.

A round trip service operates from the village to the Showground from 08.00 to 18.00
